Jelly Roll is in the middle of a major glow-up — and fans are buzzing. The singer has reportedly dropped 200 pounds and even shaved off his iconic beard… but he’s keeping the final reveal under wraps for now.
Not even his wife, Bunnie XO, got to see the process. In a video she shared on Instagram, Bunnie joked about the shock of seeing her husband without facial hair for the first time ever.
“I’ve been with my husband going on 10 years now. I have never seen this man without his facial hair,” she said. “And you guys know, as women, we get catfished because we don’t know what the hell’s under there.” When it came time for the shave, Jelly Roll was adamant that she not peek. “I’m not looking. I’m not looking, OK?” Bunnie explained. “He tried to just show me, but I’m not looking until it’s all done. He just kicked me out of the room.”
So what was her verdict once she finally saw his clean-shaven face?
“The total naked face — it’s not terrible,” she laughed.
Alongside the beard reveal, Jelly Roll’s dramatic weight loss has also been inspiring fans. In a recent podcast appearance, he opened up about his lifelong struggle with weight:
“I got fat, like, really, really young. I was over 300 pounds coming out of middle school,” he shared. “I’m gonna be under 300 pounds for the first time since middle school the night I walk to that ring at SummerSlam.”
At one point, the singer weighed nearly 550 pounds — making this transformation a massive achievement in discipline and dedication! And honestly, we couldn’t be more proud of him!
Jelly Roll has promised to show the world his complete transformation when he feels ready… and we’re hoping that moment arrives tonight at the 59th CMA Awards!
